Teams consist of three runners and literally build the race step by step: the first runner starts alone, after 3 km the second joins, and in the final 3 km lap the third runs in with the team for a shared finish. That means the 3, 6 and 9 km formats all belong to the same team event, and the race is as much about collaboration as it is about running speed. After the effort, a walking dinner and networking moment follow, making BOUWRUN clearly more than a standard company run. The concept links sporting effort with sector identity, colleagues and partners from construction.
