Harbour Run Rotterdam

About the race

The Harbour Run brings an obstacle run into the Rotterdam docks themselves: entrants cover 6 or 10 kilometres across quays and port grounds, past ships and between the containers. The obstacles are built for that setting — climbing over containers is part of it — and there are twenty to nearly thirty of them. The point is not a time but getting through together, which means teams haul each other over the obstacles. Because the course lies in a working port, the ground is hard and industrial rather than muddy. The event is an initiative of SportVibes.
