Brijderloop 2027
The Brijderloop has been going for well over a quarter of a century and has a clear reason for existing: movement as part of recovery. The run is meant for people with an addiction background, people with a psychological vulnerability and anyone who simply feels like running — those three groups line up at the same start. There are two distances of 5 and 10 kilometres, preceded by children's runs over 400, 800 and 1200 metres, so that carers and family take part rather than watch. Start and finish are on the track of the Hylas athletics club on the Havinghastraat in Alkmaar. It is organised by Reakt and Brijder Verslavingszorg together with the athletics club.
