The Milkrun starts at the Klim-Op primary school in Bavegem and owes its name to the most striking part of the course: the passage straight through the Inex milk factory. The race consists of four-kilometre loops, so participants choose for themselves whether to cover one, two, three or four. Alongside it there is a Family Fun Run of two kilometres, a Milk Walk over 7 or 13 kilometres for walkers and an obstacle course for children. Musical entertainment is set up along the way. The event is carried by the school's parent committee and staff; anyone registering in advance receives a goodie bag.
