The Geelster Natuurloop is a recreational nature run organised by Natuurpunt Lede and Atletiekclub Vlierzele Sportief, with start and finish at the Putbosstadion in Oordegem. The routes pass through the fields, woods and Geelster valley around Lede, including areas such as Putbos and Papegembos. Because parts of the course cross private land, the organisers do not publish GPX files and there is no timing. The main distances are about 5, 9, 16 and 22 km; there are also kids runs of 500 m, 1 km and 1.5 km, plus a walk of about 11.5 km. As a result, the event feels less like a race and more like a well-organised discovery run through a green part of Lede.
