Ronde van Zele

About the race

The Ronde van Zele is not an ordinary road race but a Run & Bike: a team of four covers roughly 35 kilometres together, with one member running while the others cycle and take turns along the way. That is exactly the method used during the Roparun, and the event is built on it — the proceeds go towards improving the quality of life of cancer patients. Teams enter as women's, men's or mixed formations; taking part individually is possible too. The cyclists set off a quarter of an hour before the runners from the village school on the Bookmolenstraat, and the route seeks out the green and rural side of Zele.
