De Kuip Run

About the race

De Kuip Run takes participants to places in the Rotterdam stadium that are normally off limits. The course runs through and around De Kuip, past the players' tunnel and across the pitch, and then on through the neighbouring Varkenoord sports complex. Runners choose between 5 and 10 kilometres; those doing the ten pass through the stadium twice. Starts are in waves, so the indoor section of the route does not jam up. For Feyenoord supporters that moment on the grass is the main reason to enter, but the rest of the course is an ordinary city loop and works just as well for anyone with no ties to the club.
