The Beuningse Plasloop sets off from the Verlengde Reekstraat and runs around a sand extraction area just outside the built-up part of Beuningen. The course is paved and largely free of traffic, with the lake and the greenery around it as the backdrop. For adults there are 5 and 10 kilometres; children from four to eight run 500 metres and the older youth 1,200 metres, the same distance on which framerunners start. There is also a business run for company teams. Because everything turns around the same lake, spectators see the field come past several times.
