Strong Viking Obstacle Run Wijchen is a large obstacle event at the Berendonck in Wijchen, near Nijmegen. The 12, 13 and 14 June 2026 edition is built around mud, water and obstacles, with distances of 4, 7, 13, 19 and 42 km. Shorter options such as Family and Beginning make the event accessible, while Warrior, Beast and Iron Viking become clearly tougher. The course uses the water and mud zones around the recreation area and includes recognisable Strong Viking obstacles, from big climbs and jumps to muddy sections. The atmosphere is more adventure than classic race: teamwork, persistence and getting dirty are part of the point. That makes Wijchen suitable both for groups looking for a shared experience and for participants who want a serious OCR challenge.
