Strong Viking Obstacle Run Wijchen is Strong Viking's spring edition at the De Berendonck recreation area. On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 April 2026 this muddy obstacle event opened the season with distances of 4 km, 7 km, 13 km, 19 km and 42 km. The shorter formats are aimed at families and beginners, while Beast and Iron Viking demand far more endurance and strength. The organiser frames it not as a classic road race but as a personal challenge: climbing, crawling, mud, teamwork and obstacles such as Storm the Castle and Mud Trenches, with no major water obstacles at this spring edition.
