The Emilialoop is an evening run in the centre of Wijchen, organized around the Markt and Kasteel Wijchen. The sixth edition has a renewed setup: the start is on the Markt, the short youth distances run through the centre and the 2.5-kilometre, 5-kilometre and 10-kilometre routes have also been adjusted. That keeps the event recognizably local, while giving race day a fresh and lively feel for runners and spectators. The programme ranges from 500 metres and 1 kilometre for young runners to 5 and 10 kilometres for adults, with an additional corporate run over 5 kilometres. The combination of centre routes, an evening start and clear race distances makes the Emilialoop suitable for young participants, recreational runners, teams and runners looking for a fast, atmospheric road race in Wijchen.
