Dark Sky Trail Lauwersmeer

About the race

An evening trail in Dark Sky Park Lauwersmeer, one of the darkest areas in Europe. Canicrossers start at 19:00 and trail runners at 19:15, both over about 10 kilometres; walkers set off at 19:30. You run as much as possible without light: a head torch may be carried, but for emergencies only, so expect a slower pace than usual. Start and finish are at activity centre Lauwersnest. A contribution per participant goes to the Dark Sky Park.
