Campus Trail Groningen

About the race

The Campus Trail is a four-mile run across the Zernike Campus in Groningen, and what makes it unusual is that the course leads straight through the buildings rather than around them. Participants pass laboratories, teaching spaces and sports facilities that would not normally sit on a running route. Music is set up along the way. The course may also be walked, and anyone who wants to stop and take in what there is to see is free to do so: this is as much about the discovery as about the time. The Campus Trail is an initiative of Campus Groningen together with, among others, the WEST business association, the ACLO and the sports centre; the practical organisation is handled by Paul van Put Events.
