Boulevardloop Nieuweroord

About the race

The Boulevardloop is the village race of the Nieuweroord sports club, starting and finishing at the De Vuurkorf village hall on the Middenraai. The evening opens with the youth races, which are free and have their own route for each age group: 450 metres for the youngest, then 900 metres and 1.35 kilometres. At seven o'clock comes the main event, the 4 miles over 6.4 kilometres, with prize money on offer. The race is also the first event where runners can collect a stamp for the regional five-village series. Everything stays compact: spectators right beside the course and the village hall as the centre of the evening.
