The BIG10 is a ten kilometre race on the cycling track of RWC Ahoy in Rotterdam, set up by BIG SERIES around a single goal: running as fast as possible. The course is flat and car-free, and the field is divided across four heats based on target time, each with its own pacers. Anyone aiming at forty minutes therefore runs among people of the same level, and the fastest heat sets off last in the evening. The number of places is capped at fifteen hundred, which keeps the track manageable. In 2026 the Dutch national championship over 10 kilometres was attached to the race. Elite athletes under thirty minutes for men and 33:30 for women may enter free of charge.
