The Intersport Bols Bentinckspark Obstacle Run is an obstacle run in Hoogeveen with Bentinckspark as its playground. On the short youth events of 400, 800 and 1,200 metres, children can discover obstacles in an accessible way, while the 5 and 10 kilometres ask for more endurance. The 5-kilometre lap runs through the park and includes 23 obstacles, so the challenge is not only about pace but also about climbing, scrambling and helping each other through. The start, registration and practical base are at vv Hoogeveen on Sportveldenweg. That mix of children, recreational runners and longer obstacle distances makes the event feel sporty, local and accessible at the same time.
