Amsterdam Pride Run

About the race

The Amsterdam Pride Run is held during Amsterdam Pride, starting and finishing at Café Restaurant Polder on Science Park. The route leads through the Flevopark and along the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal, away from the crowds of the city centre. Runners choose between 5, 10 and 15 kilometres, and those who prefer to walk can cover the five kilometres at their own pace. The race links sport to visibility: the field is made up of sports clubs, groups of friends and individual runners from the LGBTI community and beyond, and the atmosphere counts for at least as much as the time on the clock.
