20 km de Bastogne - Trail du Souvenir is a nature run in Bastogne with a strong remembrance theme. The 20 September 2026 edition offers two running distances, 20 km and 8 km, with the start at the Mardasson Memorial and the finish and race office at Centre sportif Porte de Trèves. The course is clearly closer to trail running than a classic road race: current sources mention mainly forest paths, country roads, more than 80 percent woodland and around 239 metres of elevation gain on the 20 km. The event is linked to Lions Club Bastogne Nuts City, with timing by Ultratiming and registration through LeDossard. Walkers have separate distances, but those are not part of the timed running programme.
