About the race

Bastogne-Wiltz-Bastogne is a winter end-of-year trail from Bastogne, with long distances heading towards the Ardennes and Luxembourg landscapes around Wiltz. The main formats are 50, 70 and 100 km, with a relay option on the 70 km. Start and finish are at Centre Sportif Porte de Trêves in Bastogne, while the shorter Castle Trail Luxembourg Wiltz distances of 18 and 30 km belong separately in Wiltz. The race combines long trail kilometres, solid elevation gain and a clear late-season character, without overstating the route as rougher than it is: the course is hilly, but many sections are relatively runnable. For ultra runners, this is above all a cross-border way to close the year.
