Houffa Trail is a trail weekend in Houffalize, in the heart of the Ardennes, with three race moments spread across Saturday and Sunday. Saturday morning opens with the Kamikaze Trail over 4 kilometres; Saturday evening brings the Night Trail over 10 or 20 kilometres, run in the dark; Sunday morning closes proceedings with the Houffa Trail itself over 18 or 28 kilometres. Anyone who wants to can string three of those distances together in the combined classification of the Houffa Trail Challenge, in a short or a long format, with a limited number of places per series. The courses make use of the hilly Ardennes terrain around Houffalize, with technical sections alternating with stretches where a decent pace is possible. The field runs into the thousands.
