Zwemloop Wassenaar

About the race

The Zwemloop of Wassenaar combines swimming and running in a single race, a discipline offered in only a handful of places in the Netherlands. Participants alternate between the two, with the swimming taking place in open water. Wassenaar lends itself well to this: the municipality lies between the dunes and the coast, with stretches of water and forest paths close to one another. The setup is small-scale and local, which makes the event well suited to anyone wanting to try the combination of swimming and running without committing straight away to a full triathlon.
