The Wildman Run is an obstacle run in Sleen, covered through nature reserve and through water, with mud as a fixed ingredient. There are five distances, all expressed in miles and each with a character of its own: a kidsrun of one mile, a fun distance of two and a half, five miles with forty-nine obstacles, seven and a half miles for those wanting it harder, and ten miles as the most technical variant, made up of two laps of the five. Around the start and finish lies an event ground with food, drink, live music and a DJ, plus changing rooms, toilets and a guarded place for bags. The Red Cross is present. The event is organised by the local committee of Sleen.
