WCUP Ros Beiaardtriatlon Dendermonde is a compact triathlon in Dendermonde where young athletes, school participants, recreational athletes and relay trios share the same sporting programme. From the area around GO! Talent, participants take on clear swim-bike-run combinations: short kids distances, youth races, a school triathlon and the recreational sprint over 500 metres of swimming, 20 km of cycling and 5 km of running. The technical bike course gives the race extra character and asks for more than holding a flat tempo. Maspoe keeps the format accessible, with electronic timing, a guarded transition area, aid stations and a finish atmosphere suited to a triathlon day for young starters, teams and recreational athletes.
