Wal'Run is the race of the parents' association of the Ecole Sainte-Materne in Walcourt, setting off from the school on the Rue du Couvent. The programme falls into two halves. For children there are three free distances of 400 metres, 800 metres and 1.2 kilometres, rising with age. The adults then head out over 6 or 11 kilometres from the centre of Walcourt. Because the children's races and the adult events fall on the same afternoon, a family can do the day together: the little ones first, then the parents. The whole thing stays a school-based village race in the province of Namur.
