Triathlon Vert de Charleroi is a cross triathlon around Charleroi-les-Bains, by the outdoor pools of Marcinelle/Loverval. The day combines swimming in a heated 50-metre pool with mountain biking on roads, woodland tracks and sections around the lake, followed by running on closed green paths. The programme is broad: Kids, Jeunes and Juniors have their own races, while adults can choose between the Découverte 1/16, the 1/8 cross triathlon and a relay format. The main distance is 750 m of swimming, 19.7 km of mountain biking and 5 km of running; the shorter races are scaled down clearly. That mix makes the event feel more like a compact, approachable cross triathlon than a classic city race.
