The Vestingloop of Willemstad uses the town itself as its course: you run along the ramparts, past the water and through the historic centre, finishing at the harbour head among the terraces. Willemstad is small enough that a single lap takes in the whole fortification. The programme opens with the 5 kilometre walk, then the family run of one kilometre, and only later the 5 and the 10 kilometres. Companies can enter a team on both running distances. Because the walkers go ahead and the children follow, the finish is busy all afternoon. The event is organised by EPIC Sports & Business.
