Vechtstreek in Beweging is not a one-off race but a series of recreational runs at the Maarsseveense Plassen, always on a Sunday at eleven. The course is a fully paved, car-free five-kilometre lap around the large lake; you decide how many laps you do, from five kilometres up to the half marathon. Pace leaders set off on the ten and the fifteen kilometres at fixed tempos between five and just over six minutes per kilometre, so you can be carried along instead of watching your own watch. There are no results: what there is are kilometre markers, a clock at every passing, water, fruit and a start point by the car park on the Herenweg. OSM '75 Atletiek organises the series.
