The Utrechtse Heuvelrug Ultra Trail (UHUT100) is a GPX ultra by Trail Events, with start and finish at Molecaten Landgoed Ginkelduin in Leersum. The event uses two large loops of around 50 kilometres across the Utrechtse Heuvelrug: a Rhenen loop and a Doorn loop. Participants choose a single 50 kilometres, the new 75 kilometres or the full 100 kilometres, with aid stations every 10 to 15 kilometres and a mandatory personal cup. The course seeks out the variety of forest, estates, singletracks, lanes and open views, making the distance a real trail day both physically and mentally. As part of the Dutch Ultra Series, the UHUT mainly appeals to runners who want to navigate independently for a long time while still relying on clear organization and support.
