The Utrechtse Heuvelrug Ultra Trail (UHUT100), organised by Trail Events, starts and finishes at Molecaten Landgoed Ginkelduin in Leersum. The course consists of two loops of just over fifty kilometres: one towards Rhenen across the hillier ground between Leersum, Amerongen and Elst, and one towards Doorn with plenty of single track, heathland and sandy stretches. Runners pick a single loop or link both within the same weekend for the full hundred kilometres, around 109 kilometres in total. The summer edition adds a 75-kilometre option; in the winter edition the two loops fall on Saturday and Sunday. Aid stations follow every ten to fifteen kilometres, a personal cup is compulsory, and the race counts towards the Dutch Ultra Series.
