Galgenberg Trail

About the race

Galgenberg Trail is a trail run by Trail Events around the Amerongse Berg, with three distances: 9, 18 and 27 kilometres. The course has the character you would expect from a wooded hill route — unpaved paths, natural climbing and enough variety to demand rhythm and attention. The distances rise in steps of nine kilometres, which keeps the choice clear: you know exactly what you are taking on if you aim one step higher. Its position on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug ridge gives the trail a layered profile that feels distinctly different from a flat road race. That makes it appealing above all to runners who want to feel the terrain rather than simply tick off kilometres.
