Urban Haring Run & Fit Festival

About the race

Urban Haring Run & Fit Festival is a city run through Vlaardingen, organised by Stichting Urban Fit. The fifth edition takes place on Sunday 14 June 2026 as part of Vlaardingen’s herring month. Participants choose routes of roughly 2.5, 6 or 10 km and run not only through streets and parks, but also through characteristic buildings and businesses in the Haringstad. Along the way, the experience is about more than pace: art, culture, history, music and small route surprises give the event its own character. Start and finish are around the Urban Fit Festival at the Watertoren Vlaardingen, where spectators and non-runners are also welcome. That makes the Urban Haring Run feel more like an active discovery tour through the city than a classic road race.
