Strong Viking - Obstacle Run Hofstade is Strong Viking's Belgian mud and obstacle event in Hofstade, Zemst. On 30 May 2026, the programme covers 4, 7, 13, 19 and 42 kilometres, with a Family Run from age 5, the accessible Beginning, Lightning, Warrior, Beast and the demanding Iron Viking over marathon distance. The course is about climbing, crawling, water, mud and teamwork, with recognizable obstacles such as Storm the Castle, Mud Trenches and SAGA obstacles. The atmosphere is less a classic race and more a shared challenge: participants choose their distance, can take a walk-by at many obstacles, and receive aid, photos and a finish moment along the way. That makes Hofstade suitable for families and beginners, but also for participants who want to complete a long obstacle run with more than one hundred obstacles.
