Triathlon Holten Run

About the race

The Nijha Run is the Friday evening race that opens the Triathlon Holten weekend. The course is a loop through the village that you cover twice or four times, for 5 or 10 kilometres; because you keep passing the same points, the crowd stands right on top of the race. Before it, the G-run sets off, a free six-hundred-metre loop from the Kalfstermansweide, along the Smidsbelt and around the church. Anyone can take part in it, with a guide or using an aid such as a wheelchair or walking frame, and every participant receives a medal that can be engraved on the spot.
