SallandTrail

About the race

The SallandTrail sets off in Nijverdal and climbs onto the Sallandse Heuvelrug, with nine distances from 12 to 100 kilometres. That series rises so evenly that there is a step for almost any ambition: from a first taste of unpaved ground to a hundred kilometres running into the night. The routes use forest paths, heathland and single tracks, with the roll of the ice-pushed ridge as a recurring element. In early March the heath is bare and the ground wet, which tells above all on the long distances. The race is run together with ASV Atletics, the Hellendoorn municipality and Nationaal Park De Sallandse Heuvelrug.
