TRI4you Zwemloop Assen combines swimming or aqua jogging with running, so it is not a standard running race. The Sunday 12 April 2026 edition was held at De Bonte Wever and the Stadsbroekhal. The swim took place in the indoor pool, after which participants moved through the transition area behind the complex and ran towards the Asserbos. Young children had short school categories, G-sport athletes had their own race, and older participants could choose 250 m swim plus 2.5 km run or the sprint distance of 500 m swim plus 5 km run. Duo and relay categories were also on the programme.
