Trail d'Orval Muno

About the race

The Trail d'Orval Muno sets off from Muno, a village in the municipality of Florenville in the Gaume, and heads into the wooded hills of the south of Belgian Luxembourg. Five distances are on offer, from 13 kilometres with around 450 metres of climbing to 53 kilometres with more than 1,650, with loops of 20, 30 and 39 kilometres in between. The courses are waymarked with large orange signs carrying black arrows, and marshals are posted at junctions and hazardous points. Participants also receive all the GPS files in advance, so anyone who wishes can study the route beforehand. The climbing rises steadily with the distance, which makes the longest loops a serious challenge.
