Runners' Lab Trail Godefroy Bouillon is a demanding trail and ultra day in Bouillon, with start and finish on the esplanade in front of the medieval castle. The routes follow the Semois, climb onto higher trails and pass through technical sections with serious elevation gain. The five distances range from 20.67 km to 101.7 km, with 34.52, 53.51 and 76 km in between. That gives the event both a sharp short trail and long ultras with aid stations, cut-off times and mandatory kit. The combination of the castle, the Semois, Tombeau du Géant, Rochehaut and Frahan gives the race a distinct Ardennes character: tough, beautiful and constantly varied.
