The Humundi Race is not an ordinary trail but a team journey through the Ardennes around Bouillon, to be completed by three to six participants. Three formats are offered. Relax combines 10 kilometres of trail or hiking with 7 kilometres of kayaking on the Semois and a death-ride; Medium does the same over 20 kilometres; Extreme consists of 30 kilometres on foot. The death-ride is a zip line descent from the castle of Bouillon and forms the closing piece. Running is allowed, walking too — the emphasis lies on getting through together rather than on speed. Every team raises money for Humundi, the organisation formerly called SOS Faim, which works on fighting hunger and building fairer food systems.
