The StoneCityRun sets off at the De Meenthe theatre and finishes on the market square of Steenwijk, with the town ramparts and the Rams Woerthe park in between. The programme is strikingly broad for a city race of this size: alongside 3, 5 and 10 kilometres there are a Kids Mile, a Fun Run of six hundred metres, a 3 kilometre walk that is free to enter, a G-Run held with the Maargieshoeve for participants with a disability, and a Rollator Run. Those last two are not a footnote but part of the idea that everyone in Steenwijk can take part. Spectators and cafés are waiting on the market square when you come in.
