Steenbergtrail Erpe-Mere is a Maspoe trail race with start and finish at Sporthal Steenberg in Erpe-Mere. On Sunday 14 June 2026, the second edition offers four distances: 9, 16, 22 and 29 km. More than three quarters of the course is unpaved, with gravel roads, muddy sections, singletracks and short climbs through the countryside around Erpe-Mere. Elevation ranges from 74 m+ on the 9 km to 213 m+ on the 29 km, giving each distance its own trail character without making the event extreme. The longer distances have aid stations on course, and there is a generous finish-area refreshment setup. This makes the race a good fit for runners who want a real off-road outing, but still appreciate a clear venue and practical organisation.
