Sofie Walk & Run

About the race

Sofie Walk & Run sets off from the Nachtegaalstraat in Mol and is a memorial walk for Sofie Roofthooft, carried by her family and friends. Starting is free between nine and three, so you go when it suits you. The routes run through the green country where Sofie liked to run herself: 3, 6 or 9 kilometres for anyone wanting a walk, 15 kilometres for those pressing on and 25 for the long loop — the last being the fifteen plus ten kilometres followed by GPS. Texts stand along the route, which makes the journey as much a commemoration as a walk.
