The AAC'61 Trimloop is not a single race but a series: the second Saturday of every month from October through March. Start and finish are on the Oranjewoudbaan on the Achterpad in Assen, and the course is a lap of almost three kilometres through the Asserbos. You decide on the spot how many laps to do — one to five, so roughly 3, 6, 9, 12 or 15 kilometres. At eleven the adults set off; five minutes later the children and FrameRunners cover their distance on the track itself: 400, 800 or 1200 metres. This is not about a standings but about keeping running through the winter.
