Run Maasdijk is the road race of the Westland village of Maasdijk, held alongside the annual summer festival. The 10 kilometres heads out from the Korte Kruisweg into the polder, along the Oranjepolderweg, the Oranjedijk and the Schenkeldijk, and finishes back in the middle of the village. The course is entirely traffic-free, marked at every kilometre and flat tarmac throughout, which makes for a fast race; there is prize money for the first three finishers, for breaking a target time and for the fastest local runner. There is also a 5 kilometres through the polder and a youth race over 500 and 1000 metres. Changing rooms, showers and race numbers are at the Dijkvogels korfball club.
