The Kopjesloop is not an annual race but a monthly one: AV De Koplopers holds it on the second Sunday of every month from September through June, in the Delftse Hout recreation area. There is a choice of 5 and 10 kilometres, alongside a 1 kilometre youth race for children up to twelve. The course is fully paved, almost free of traffic and marked by the kilometre; on the 10 kilometres there is a water point halfway. Times are officially recorded and published, but there is no prize-giving. Start and finish are on the Bieslandse Pad. The September edition doubles as the club's 10 kilometre championship.
