Run for Lance

About the race

Run for Lance is a charity race in Wulvergem (Heuvelland), set up by the village festival committee together with the family and friends of Lance, a young man from Kemmel. Proceeds go to Lance, and each year the organisers also support another charity. At 3:30 pm you start for 6 or 12 km with timing through the streets of Wulvergem; the organisers themselves call it a challenging little route. From 2:45 pm the children run 200, 500 or 1000 m. Everything takes place at De Walvis on the Hooghofstraat, and every participant gets a goodie bag.
