Run for Hope - Dordrecht 2026

Run for Hope sets off from Dorp De Hoop in Dordrecht and runs through the area around the Biesbosch, with 5, 10 and 21.1 kilometres on the programme. The race is not an end in itself: participants get themselves sponsored for the clients of De Hoop, people recovering from addiction or psychological problems, and the organisers work towards a fundraising target for the event as a whole. That also explains the categories — alongside men, women and youth there are entries for business teams and for adapted sport, because taking part weighs more here than the time. Changing rooms, showers and parking are at the start. The event is organised by Vrienden van De Hoop.
