The Boels Rental Run is a road race in Dordrecht with the Fortius sports complex on the Halmaheiraplein as its permanent base. The morning opens on the athletics track with the youth races over 400, 600 and 800 metres, split by age. The 5 and 10 kilometres follow, and finally the half marathon, which also starts on the track. The course runs on paved roads along the Wantij and through the Hollandsche Biesbosch, giving the race more character than a straightforward city loop. The half marathon is officially certified. The event has grown considerably in recent years and sells out weeks in advance, so entering early is essential.
