The Rottemerenloop sets off at De Sneeuwbal on the Lange Vaart in Bleiswijk and runs through the country around the Rottemeren lakes. There are three distances: a Kidsrun of 1600 metres at half past nine, a quarter marathon of 10.5 kilometres at ten and the half marathon at quarter past ten. The two longest carry time limits of an hour and a half and two hours forty respectively. The course is waymarked and flat, with aid stations along the way. The event is organised by AWV De Kieviten, the walking, running and athletics club of Lansingerland.
