AVS’90 traditionally stages the Rijk Zwaan's 15 km van Standdaarbuiten on Ascension Day. The start and finish are on the event field next to the Aventurijn primary school on Antoniusstraat. The programme opens with youth races over 1 kilometre (up to and including nine years old) and 2 kilometres (ten to twelve years old). The 5, 10 and 15 kilometres follow, with the 15 kilometres also run as a road race for Atletiekunie members and as a relay. The course runs through the village, which is closed to car traffic between roughly 12.00 and 17.00 on race day; parking is available at the Markweg/Molendijk roundabout. The clubhouse of football club SVC on Dr. Poelstraat houses the race office, changing rooms and showers. The race counts towards the Brabants Rondje series.
