Purmerbosloop is AV NEA-Volharding's evening run in Purmerend, set in the Purmerbos near De Es car park. The programme is clear and compact: one 4 km loop through the forest, run once, twice or three times for the 4, 8 and 12 km distances. Participants can therefore choose between a short fitness run and a longer effort, with start times close together and facilities such as first aid, refreshments and parking near the start area. Purmerbosloop feels like a club race in the best sense: small-scale, practically organised and built entirely around running in green surroundings.
