The PISO Tienen City Run leaves from the school on the Alexianenweg and heads through the centre of Tienen: one lap for the five kilometres, two for the ten. The programme opens at six with a 600-metre kids run, after which the five sets off at half past six and the ten ten minutes later. Although a school carries the organisation, the race is open to everyone and not only to pupils. It counts within the Loopcriterium Hageland, and anyone holding a race number from that series pays a euro less. After the last finisher the evening carries on for a good while — the running here is the start of the evening, not the end of it.
